Christmas is wonderful, Christmas is great
Christmas is for giving and everyone loves it
But when you can’t afford to give
How do your friends feel about it?
When you’re poor at Christmastime
It hurts your heart not to give
In your past you’ve given all you could
But now you can’t even do that
While you know they’ll understand
It still is extremely painful
Not to be able to give a gift
Christmas sucks when you’re poor...
